• Fasting Blood Glucose – 8–12 hours fasting before the test
• Lipid Profile – 9–12 hours fasting, no alcohol 24 hours prior
• Oral Glucose Tolerance Test (OGTT) – 8–12 hours fasting, avoid caffeine and smoking
• Hormonal Tests (e.g., Cortisol, FSH, LH, Testosterone) – May require fasting or specific timing of sample collection
• Kidney Function Tests (BUN, Creatinine) – Fasting may be required for certain panels
• Stool Tests for Occult Blood – Avoid NSAIDs, red meat, and vitamin C supplements prior
• Urine Tests (24-hour collection) – Proper collection and storage instructions provided
